A new Lowe's store soon will be constructed at 1300 S. 300 West. It is expected to open in the second quarter of 2006.
The warehouse store will have 116,000 square feet of retail sales space and a 31,000-square-foot garden center. The company said similar-size stores average an investment of $18.5 million and create up to 175 jobs.
The North Carolina-based company has nine stores and more than 1,000 employees in Utah.
