Devan Cahoon

Lone Peak Knights

Sport: Baseball

Class: Senior

Position: Pitcher/Outfield

The numbers: Cahoon went through a cold stretch early in the season, but few have had a hotter bat over the past few weeks. In Monday's critical win over Mountain View he had four hits and four RBIs. His big blow came in the eighth inning when he belted a two-run two-out homer to tie the game and force another extra inning. He then picked up the win in relief by striking out two batters with the bases loaded in the 10th. In two wins over Pleasant Grove, he earned a victory on the mound and had two singles and two doubles, with four RBIs.

Allison Bramwell

Timpanogos Timberwolves

Sport: Softball

Class: Junior

Position: Pitcher

The numbers: Every coach and player in Region 7 knows Bramwell is one of the league's toughest pitchers to score on. She's held the opposing team to one run or under seven times this season, with two of those games being shutouts. In a win over Wasatch she struck out 14. In beating Mountain View she fanned 13. She also tossed a six-inning no-hitter against Pleasant Grove. Her big game, however, came on Monday when she tossed a complete-game four-hit shutout against league-leading Lone Peak, which helped the Timberwolves tie the Knights for first place.
