UnitedHealthcare said Monday it has appointed Curt Howell as executive director of UnitedHealthcare-Utah.
Howell, a University of Utah graduate, previously served as vice president of program management for Nevada-Care Inc. His career also includes positions at Humana Inc., Sierra Health Services Inc. and North American Medical Management.
Howell replaces CEO Annette Herman as leader of the Utah operations. Herman has been named senior vice president of Uniprise, the part of UnitedHealthcare that manages the benefits programs of large businesses.
