'Showing Off Utah'

PROVO — Artists whose paintings were not accepted for the Springville Museum of Art "Spring Salon" were invited to enter the fourth annual Utah County Art Board Spring Show "Showing Off Utah."

Paintings will be juried into two separate exhibits. Each exhibit will have separate judges and prizes, and each will have a separate awards reception for the artists.

The first reception and awards program will be on May 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Utah County Art Gallery, 151 S. University. Additional hours for the County Gallery Exhibit are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The second reception will be at the Freedom Gallery, 225 W. Center on May 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. The Freedom Gallery is open from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Both exhibits will run through June 30.
