Police continue to search for a man who led officers on a chase in a stolen vehicle Friday night and may be wanted in another state for evading police.
Troopers said the incident began just after 11 p.m. near Shepherd Lane and I-15 in Farmington when a UHP trooper checked a license plate and learned the car was stolen.
UHP Sgt. Greg Willmore said when the trooper attempted to pull the driver over, the driver sped off west for about a mile before rolling the vehicle. Willmore said the man then fled on foot and managed to elude police. Troopers did find identification inside the stolen vehicle of a man wanted in Minnesota for evading police there.
Troopers are still looking for the man.
