Utah Botanical Center, House to host spring celebration

The Utah Botanical Center and Utah House, 920 S. 50 West, Kaysville, are hosting a Spring Celebration Saturday to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there are tours of the resource-efficient Utah House. The following classes are offered:

10 a.m.: Water Conservation at Home

11 a.m.: Turf Grass Choices and Tips

Noon: Bicycles to Fit Your Life Cycle

1 p.m.: Water-Wise Landscaping

2 p.m.: Creating Healthy Homes

The Botanical Center will have the following classes:

9 a.m.: Small Space Gardening

10 a.m.: Grapes and Berries

11 a.m.: Gardening for the Soil-Challenged

Noon: Landscape and Garden Design

1 p.m.: Flowers, Annuals and Perennials
