The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah will announce the winners of its 2005 Utah Entrepreneur Challenge, a business plan competition among Utah students, at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rice Eccles Stadium Tower, 451 S. 1400 East.
Fred Lampropoulos, chief executive officer of Merit Medical Systems, will be the keynote speaker at the event.
For this year's competition, more than 200 teams submitted entries from colleges and universities throughout Utah, from which 10 finalists were chosen. The winner will receive $40,000 to start a business.
