George B. Hofmann has become a shareholder in the law firm of Parsons Kinghorn Harris. He previously served as an associate with the firm. Hofmann will continue his practice, focusing on corporate bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation. Parsons Kinghorn also announced that Jeremy Rand Cook has joined the firm. He practices in the areas of business transactions, local government law and civil litigation. Lisa R. Petersen has also joined the firm, where she will continue her practice in complex commercial litigation, contract disputes and employment matters.
The Salt Lake-based public relations and advertising agency, Richter7, announced two staff changes. Miranda Barnard was named public relations account supervisor. Barnard has been with Richter7 for three years, most recently as account manager. Tatyana Ayrapetova was named account manager for client services. Ayrapetova has been with Richter7 for one year, most recently as assistant account manager.
The law firm of Snell & Wilmer announced that attorneys Karthik Nadesan and Emily Smith have joined the the firm's Salt Lake office. Nadesan's practice is concentrated in litigation. He is a U. Law School graduate. Smith focuses her practice in commercial litigation. She received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
The Orton Group, a Salt Lake-based advertising, public relations and design firm, has hired Cindy Collins as an account coordinator. Collins previously worked as community affairs director for a local television station.
The law firm of Kirton & McConkie announced numerous staff additions. Dax D. Anderson, Kenneth W. Birrell, Donald F. Crane, Kevin F. Cunningham, Terry L. Fund, Scott E. Isaacson, Jarod R. Marrott, Eric B. Robinson, Nicholas D. Wells and Brent A. Andrewsen have recently joined the firm. Anderson, Marrott and Wells will work in the firm's intellectual property section. Andrewsen and Birrell will work in the firm's corporate and tax section. Robinson has been assigned to the firm's real property section, while Crane, Cunningham, Isaacson and Fund all work for the firm's international law section.
