The passing of Pope John Paul II saddens me. He was one of the great spiritual leaders of the past 70 years. I am fortunate that I have lived when we have had other great spiritual leaders, such as President Gordon B. Hinckley of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Billy Graham and Martin Luther King. Each of these leaders professed the faith of their religious convictions and did not deviate.
