One of Liberty Park's most notable events was shaken up Sunday afternoon when a man was fatally stabbed.
Police say the victim was attending the Sunday "drum circle" at the east side of Liberty Park when witnesses say they saw the man get into an argument with an unknown group of men just after 4 p.m.
"Witnesses said they saw him run from the group and then fall on the ground," said Salt Lake City Police Lt. Melody Gray.
The victim, Joshua Jacobson, 21, was stabbed in the chest and was declared dead at the hospital, Gray said.
Police say the group of men fled the scene, but after interviewing witnesses, police are looking for a light-skinned suspect in his early 20s with a shaved head who was seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and carrying an orange backpack.
