It's a tale all-too familiar for the Jazz, who went with usual No. 3 point Randy Livingston over McLeod for their 26th different starting lineup of the season.
That count is second-highest in the league this season, trailing only Indiana's 27 different opening lineups.
This time Sloan merely wanted to give some playing time to Livingston, who had not played coach's decision in Utah's previous five games. He wound up logging a season-high 29 minutes, scoring 10 points on 3-of-5 field shooting.
Utah also got a career-high 12 points from center Curtis Borchardt, plus another 16 from Matt Harpring.
What the Jazz did not get, though, was the inspiration to carry them through a fourth quarter against an opponent playing like it needed the victory much more than they did.
"I don't know how many games," Okur said, "we've lost in the fourth quarter."
