PROVO — The Utah Department of Transportation will be working on roads this week in Utah County. They advise motorists of conditions in the following areas:

• North Springville Interchange (U-75) — Due to inclement weather, the closure of frontage road west of I-15 at the north Springville interchange (exit 265) has been extended through the first week of April. Motorists accessing businesses along the frontage road may use the 400 South Springville interchange as an alternate route.

• U.S. 6 — The highway will be periodically closed on Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., while construction crews place beams for a new bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad west of Santaquin. Motorists should expect moderate travel delays.

• I-15 — Motorists traveling I-15 on Sunday will be restricted to one lane in alternating directions between the Spanish Fork Main Street interchange (exit 260) and the north Springville interchange (exit 265), from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., while UDOT crews take pavement samples. Motorists should expect moderate delays.

UDOT encourages motorists to use caution and travel at the posted speed limits while driving through work zones. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather, equipment problems or emergency situations.
