Nuclear fears

Summary

An Associated Press/Ipsos-Public Affairs poll showed:

• 66 percent say no country should be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

• 53 percent believe a terrorist attack using nuclear weapons is likely in the next five years.

• 52 percent believe one country attacking another using nuclear weapons is likely in the next five years.

The poll of 1,000 adults was conducted March 21-23, 2005. It has a 3 percent margin of error.
