AUSTIN, Texas — Likely playing his final game for Utah, Andrew Bogut had a game to forget Friday night.

The sophomore from Australia had the poorest shooting night of his career, going 8-for-19 from the field and 4-for-11 from the free-throw line. He did get his 26th double-double of the season, finishing with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Bogut finished the season with 715 points, giving him the sixth-best total in a season for Utah, surpassing Keith Van Horn and Ticky Burden in his final game. His rebound total of 427 was just short of Billy McGill's 430 total. Despite his poor shooting night, Bogut still broke the season record for field-goal percentage at 62.2 percent, breaking the mark of Antoine Davison of 61.7 in 1990-91.

CHRIS HILL II AND III: Utah athletic director Chris Hill was happy to be a Ute again this weekend after having to miss the two Ute wins last week because of his duties as on the NCAA basketball committee. He said he was hoping to be able to be in his red sweater all weekend, rather than have to revert to being an NCAA committeeman.

Hill's name has been getting a lot of run this week. One of Milwaukee-Wisconsin's starting guard's is named Chris Hill, while one of Michigan State's backup guards is named Chris Hill. Each player scored just two points in their games.

UTE TICKETS: Utah was the only one of the four teams in the regional that didn't use all of its allotted tickets.

Each team was allotted 1,250 tickets, but according to U. ticket manager Dave Copier, the Utes returned approximately 325 and sold 925.

Copier said he could have easily sold his entire allotment if the game had been close to home. A lot of fans found it expensive to fly to Austin — around $600 — and too far to drive — 1,584 miles. Copier also said the U. limited phone orders from Texas, making sure only Ute fans were ordering tickets, not potential scalpers.

BAD HISTORY: Before Friday night's loss, the Utes had lost six straight games to the Wildcats, all since 1993. Before that the teams were tied 2-2 in their all-time series

For the record, the Utes lost to the Wildcats 83-62 in 1993, 101-70 in 1996, 72-59 in 1997, 78-69 in 1998 and 74-54 in 2003. The Utes also lost regular-season games in 1999 and 1954, in the NIT in 1944 and won in the 1947 NIT finals and in a regular-season game in 1977.
