Artist Derek Boshier, participant in the development of British Pop Art, will discuss his media work as well as his projects with David Bowie and the band The Clash. BYU Museum of Art will host a lecture by noted American studies scholar and professor of art history Erika Doss on Thursday evening from 7-8:30. Doss will lecture on "Spirited Moderns: Rethinking Robert Henri's Female Art Students." The lecture is free and open to the public.
Southern Utah University's Department of Art and Design will host a lecture and demonstration by ceramics artist and instructor Bruce Dehnert on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the J.L. Sorenson Physical Education Building, Room 101. Dehnert will also conduct demonstrations on Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in Centrum Room 203. The public is welcome to attend all events.
