MAGNA — Come have a doughnut with the mayor!
Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon is holding a "Breakfast With the Mayor" event in Magna Saturday, where residents are invited to come to meet Corroon and tell him about whatever concerns or issues they might have with the county.
Corroon says he plans to make the breakfasts a monthly occurrence, with one planned for East Millcreek in April and Taylorsville in May.
The breakfasts are in addition to the monthly open-door meetings Corroon has also committed himself to.
The Magna event will be held Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Magna Union Hall, 2644 S. 8950 West. Call 250-6613 for more information.
