Easter egg hunts schedule

The Easter Bunny will be hopping into Utah County a bit early this year, but an early Easter hasn't stopped many cities from hosting their annual Easter egg hunt. Listed below are area egg hunts taking place Saturday, March 26:

American Fork — Saturday, March 26, 9 a.m., Rotary Park, 400 S. 200 East. The first 500 children get bags of candy prior to the hunts. There will be activity booths and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Eagle Mountain —10:30 a.m., Nolan Park in the Ranches, off Peregrine Road

Genola — 10 a.m., City Park, 800 S. and Main Street

Goshen — 9 a.m., Goshen Elementary at Main and Center Streets

Highland — 10 a.m., Highland Heritage Park, 5300 W. 10400 North. There will be cookies to decorate, coloring contests and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Lehi — 9 a.m., Wines Park, 500 N. 100 East

Lindon — 9 a.m., Lindon City Park, 200 N. State

Orem — 9 a.m., Mountain View High School football stadium, 645 W. Center

Payson — 9 a.m. at Orchard Hills Park, 800 W. 800 South

Pleasant Grove — 9 a.m. at Manila Park, 1550 N. 100 East

Provo — 11 a.m., Pioneer Park, 500 W. Center. Visit with the Easter Bunny from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Salem — 9 a.m., city ball field, 600 E. Canal Road

Santaquin — 9 a.m., Centennial Park and the adjoining Santaquin City Ball Park, 30 S. 400 West

Spanish Fork — 9 a.m., Volunteer Park, 950 N. Main (just off the street)

Springville — 9 a.m., Springville High School fields, 1205 E. 900 South

Thanksgiving Point — 9 a.m. Join the "Easter Eggstreme" at Electric Park and Farm Country. Activities include pony rides, ring toss, fish pond, Easter tattoos, Easter crafts, balloon tying, inflatable rides, relay races, kiddie trains and more. Cost is $5 per person if purchased in advance, $6 at the gate. Call 768-2300 for information.

Harvest Fresh Natural Foods, 157 N. State, Orem, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. At 9 a.m. there will be an Easter egg hunt throughout the store. There will be an Easter egg decorating and a "color the rabbit" contest. Children can have a free picture taken with the Easter Bunny in the morning, and at noon there will be a book reading of favorite children's Easter stories in Sally's Book Nook. Decorate an Easter bonnet and get creative! Add fresh fruit, veggies or anything else to your hat for the Easter Bonnet Contest and Parade at 2 p.m. Call 225-4224 for information and to register for a special in-store drawing.
