The directors of the Utah Office of Ethnic Affairs will be on hand at a series of town hall meetings to discuss issues affecting the state's minority populations.
The next meeting will be tonight at 6 at the Salt Lake City Public Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South.
Residents will have a chance to hear from Yvette Donosso Diaz, executive director of the Utah Department of Community and Culture; Edie Mitko, director of the Office of Asian Affairs; Michael Styles, director of the Office of Black Affairs; Leo Gonzalez, director of the Office of Hispanic Affairs; Fotu Osaiasi Katoa, director of the Office of Pacific Islanders; Forrest Cuch, director of the Utah Division of Indian Affairs; and Luz Robles, director of public policy and research for the Office of Ethnic Affairs.
Other upcoming meetings include: Ogden, Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Ogden-Weber Community Action Partnership, 3159 Grant Ave.; Orem, Tuesday, March 29, at 6 p.m. at Utah Valley State College Center Stage Room (Student Center), 800 W. University Parkway; and Logan, Thursday, March 31, at 6 p.m. at Utah State University Alumni House.
