A Logan woman accused of arranging to have her ex-husband killed pleaded guilty to murder Friday in a Logan court.
Tamara Rhinehart pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated murder as part of a plea deal struck with Cache County prosecutors.
Rhinehart, 45, was to face a jury in a capital murder trial next month. Prosecutors say Rhinehart and her boyfriend, Craig Duncan Nicholls, 40, conspired to kill Rhinehart's ex-husband to collect on his life insurance.
Police say that in July 2003 Nicholls lured Michael Boudrero, 47, to a construction site with the promise of a plumbing job. Boudrero's body was later found. He had been shot several times.
Nicholls later confessed to the murder. He is currently serving a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Rhinehart is scheduled to be sentenced during a two-day hearing set to begin April 28.
