Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon has scheduled his second general open-door meeting for today, 4 to 6 p.m., at his office, 2001 S. State, North Building, Room N2100.
Corroon held the first such meeting, in which residents were invited to come to his office to talk to him about whatever they wanted, last month.
"Mayor Corroon made these meetings a priority so he can meet with citizens who might otherwise have a difficult time scheduling an appointment," according to a press release from his office. "Residents are invited to bring issues of specific concern to the mayor's attention."
Each person can expect approximately 10 minutes with Corroon. He anticipates holding these open-door meetings on the third Thursday of each month.
