As an Australian-American, I was offended by the University of Utah mascot's treatment of my national flag. During the Mountain West Conference quarterfinal game between Utah and Colorado State, Swoop waved the Australian flag around as if it were a prop. He then wadded it up and tossed it back into the Utah crowd, who previously had tossed it to him. No doubt had that been an American flag, Swoop would have been disciplined. To see the flag treated with complete disrespect was appalling.

I demand a public apology from Swoop and the University of Utah.
