An MRI exam performed Tuesday on Jazz forward Matt Harpring's right knee was negative, the Jazz said Tuesday.
The test also showed there is no damage to the area of Harpring's knee that was surgically repaired last season, Jazz spokesman Kim Turner said.
Still, Turner said Harpring has some "inflammation" in the joint and he is listed as "doubtful" for tonight's Delta Center game against Atlanta. With usual starting power forward Carlos Boozer nursing a strained right foot, Harpring had been starting at small forward.
If Harpring does not play tonight, and Boozer misses a sixth straight game, one possibility for the Jazz's starting lineup is for Andrei Kirilenko to move from power forward back to small forward and for rookie Kris Humphries to open at power forward.
