LINDON The Lindon City Council selected a new councilman Tuesday night after interviewing seven men for the position left vacant when Jeff Acerson was appointed to be the mayor on Feb. 1.
"Eric" Forest Anthony, 50, will be sworn in on March 1 during the council's regular session.
Anthony has lived in Lindon for 10 years, is married and is the father of five boys. He is the director of marketing for Flowserve Corporation.
Others considered for the position included former councilman Jim Dain, Tim Clyde, Gary Godfrey, Russell Stay, Jeff Wilson and David Udall.
