Chris Cannon opens office in W. Jordan
"We have, for several years, maintained an office in West Valley City, and that office will continue to serve the needs of the West Valley area," Cannon said. "The southwestern portion of Salt Lake County, however, is growing at an amazing rate, and it has become clear that we need an office that is more convenient to the folks in that area."
Cannon worked with West Jordan officials and officials in neighboring communities in establishing what he hopes will increase accessibility to that part of the 3rd District.
Much of the west side of Salt Lake County was added to Cannon's district in the reapportionment following the 2000 Census.
