VINEYARD — Vineyard selected a new town councilman to replace Randy Farnworth, who accepted the mayoral position recently.
Norman Holdaway, a long-time resident of the community of 150, is the new councilman, appointed Feb. 17.
Farnworth took over the post left open by Rulon Gammon, Vineyard's first — and until his resignation — the town's only mayor. Gammon cited personal reasons for his resignation.
