The West Wing (8 p.m., Ch. 5): With "Bingo" Bob Russell the current dunderheaded vice president emerging as the Democratic front-runner, the Santos campaign is further rocked by the emergence of another candidate, Sen. Rafferty (Mel Harris of "thirtysomething"), as a contender.
Dirty War (8 p.m., Ch. 7): This made-for-HBO movie aired just last month it's the first of three that the pay-cable network is letting PBS air for free. It's a well done, albeit somewhat tough-to-watch telefilm about a terrorist plot to detonate a nuclear "dirty bomb" in London a telefilm made more chilling by the fact that it's based on the sort of scenario real-life anti-terrorism experts fear could actually happen.
American Idol (8 p.m., Ch. 13): Four of the 24 remaining hopefuls two men and two women will be eliminated when the results of this week's voting are announced.
Kevin Hill (8 p.m., Ch. 24): Kevin moves toward gaining full custody of his niece.
Jack & Bobby (8 p.m., Ch. 30): Peter is forced to take action after learning about the relationship between Grace and Tom.
CSI: NY (9 p.m., Ch. 2): When half a body is found, the detectives look for both the killer and the other half of the body.
Wife Swap (9 p.m., Ch. 4): Two mothers of integrated families swap places.
Law & Order (9 p.m., Ch. 5): McCoy doggedly targets an unlikely hero who pursued the mass murderer of a hunting party.
