Besides Granger, the Utes will have to keep their eye on guard Troy DeVries (11.3 ppg), who hit 5 of 6 3-pointers Saturday night and forward Alfred Neale (10.3 ppg), who was the MWC player of the week two weeks ago.
GAME NOTES: Tim Drisdom, who has started 89 of 92 games and never missed a game in his career at Utah, is doubtful for tonight's game because of a pulled quad muscle. He only played nine minutes Saturday. If he can't go, Richard Chaney will take his place with Marc Jackson taking over point guard duties . . . Utah has won five of the last 10 regular-season games at the Pit with the last win coming in 2002 (66-65) . . . Jackson improved his 3-point shooting percentage to 50 percent with his 2 of 3 shooting against Air Force . . . New Mexico native Chris Jackson didn't play against Air Force Saturday and has averaged just five minutes in the last five games in which he's played . . . Utah's next game is Saturday afternoon against BYU.
No. 14 Utah (23-3, 11-0) at New Mexico (16-9, 7-3)
