Will we pollute Fish Lake and Piute Reservoir to the point the fish are not edible? We have to stop the insanity of building more coal-fired power plants to produce electricity. The Intermountain Power Agency expansion in Delta and new proposed coal fired plant by NEVCO Energy for a 270 mg plant near Sigurd must be stopped.
Alternative energy is the only way to go if we are to preserve any quality of life we have left in Utah. With coal-fired power plants being the largest contributor to the pollution, the time is now to voice our opposition to any more construction of the devastating effects of burning coal for electricity generation.
