BOISE, Idaho Coby Karl connected on six 3-point shots and finished with 22 points Saturday as Boise State beat Weber State 80-66.
Eric Lane and Franco Harris each added 16 points for Boise State (10-15) in the Bracket Buster non-conference victory.
The Broncos hit 7-of-12 3-point shots in the first half, building a 40-38 halftime lead. Boise State didn't cool off in the second half, making 7-of-13 from beyond the arc. Karl was good on 6-of-8 attempts.
Weber State (11-14) hit 51 percent (16-31) of its first half field goals to stay in the game, but couldn't maintain the pace in the second half, making only 8-of-21 (38 percent).
Terrell Stovall led Weber State with 19 points. Lance Allred added 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Jamall Jenkins scored 10.
