She may be scrounging for cash on the hit series "Desperate Housewives," but Eva Longoria is quite far from having money problems.
The Mexican-American actress recently acquired a $1.2 million Mediterranean-style home, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Longoria, who plays the young and formerly rich Gabrielle Solis, settled for the three-bedroom, three-bathroom house built in the 1920s in the Hollywood hills.
And it looks like the money will keep coming in, since the actress will star alongside Michael Douglas and Kim Basinger in the 2006 film "The Sentinel."
