The solution to the Jazz woes is simple. They just need to play fundamental basketball. Defense and rebounds win basketball games. They should just set up a simple man-to-man defense, box out on rebounds, and make their layups and open shots.

Refs have it in for Jazz

In my opinion, poor, one-sided officiating places the Jazz in a position disheartening to any player. Young players are especially vulnerable. What is the referee "beef" with the Jazz? ALL of our players are talented, and I don't believe any should leave or be traded! Coach Sloan is terrific, too.

Players are too 'nice'

I've been a Jazz supporter for 12 years and frankly am going mad. For one, I really don't believe the coaching staff should be blamed for this, although granted they maybe can do better. But the game is still played by the players. Although I believe the Arroyo trade was not a very good one, I also agree it was necessary.

I personally believe the collections of our players are just too "nice." I do believe that they at most times play hard, are willing to listen and do wish to win. But mentally, they are just not the tough-minded Stockton and Malone types who would push everyone (and have the skills to do so) to overachieve.

Team has yet to gel

I believe that this is a very young team that has yet to gel. They have the talent to make the playoffs and possibly challenge for the title someday; however, I believe it is unrealistic to expect that type of result this season. I think they will have another decent win streak or two before the end of the season, they will do well (top five) in the lottery and that they will be a better, more mature team in seasons to come.
