Jazz fans sound off on team's woes
Emails come from variety of places worldwide
No one wants to mention it but Jerry Sloan is the biggest reason the Jazz are losing. His coaching has turned the players off. There are so many lineup changes the players don't know whether they are coming or going. The Jazz have good players except the point guard position. Since there is a lot of talent at shooting guard maybe one of them should be groomed at the point guard. Groomed means letting him play enough to feel comfortable. The minutes of players are being spread around too much. Even my wife says Jerry Sloan seems to be out of it this year which is to say "He doesn't seem to have his head in the game."

Game has passed Sloan by
The problems with the Jazz begin and end with Jerry Sloan, and it has almost nothing to do with Carlos Arroyo, Carlos Boozer, and Memo Okur. This season the NBA changed its defensive rules specifically to stop teams like the Jazz and Pistons "hands on" approach. Jerry has refused to adjust the way he coaches defense, and the Jazz are leading the league in fouls and opponents' free throws. Until Coach Sloan realizes that the league has changed, and that he and the Jazz must change with it, this team will continue their march to the lottery.
