I think the investments Larry Miller made in Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer were solid. Both have long-term contracts; add Andrei Kirilenko to the mix and the Jazz are geared for the future. Kirilenko's injury caused a serious road bump, but I think the future for the team is bright. However, they can't give up and hope to win the lottery; not only is it a waste of money that has been invested in them, it is against Jerry Sloan's nature. In all honesty the Jazz will probably end up playing the lottery with a higher pick than last year, but they need to continue working hard until then.

Whole team is like Ostertag

The biggest problem the Jazz have is a lack of consistent defensive intensity. This is proven when they score 105 points and still lose. If they played defense the way Jerry Sloan wants them to they would be a playoff contender. They need to listen to the coach and his assistants and then apply what they are being told on the floor. They have shown flashes of this in a few games, but then they go back to their old ways.

It is like having a whole team with Greg Ostertag's attitude.

Trade Collins and draft Bogut

I think that Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer have been worth it, but unfortunately like with the other Jazzmen I think the play isn't consistent enough yet, and unfortunately I see ping-pong balls in the near future, which isn't a bad thing — maybe the Jazz could trade Jarron Collins and draft University of Utah's Andrew Bogut.

Players lack confidence

Well, I think Andrei Kirilenko's injury was a factor for sure.

But then main thing I think it's the players don't believe themselves, they don't think they can win games. And when you lost confidence, you lost all the chances you have to win a game.

Jerry Sloan has made some mistakes, but who doesn't? I wouldn't blame him for this dismal season at all.

I still believe this season is not over, but . . . I am just a fan; I will never give up.
