It's easy to see the jazz woes. The problem isn't in the front court, It's in the back court. The Jazz have been getting killed at the point and two guard positions. The Jazz could use more althlete's especially with the new rules. Collins, Harpring, Bell, Eisley . . . trade them by the deadline for picks or more athletic-type players. Play Humpries and Snyder more and pray for a top pick in the lottery. They should play Snyder at the two and see if he can develop into a starting two guard. Humpries should take over Harpring's role. Then hope you can get a point in the draft. Chris Paul please!!!! This year is over already. Jerry, give the young guys all the minutes they need . . . AK 47, Boozer, Okur, Humpries, Borchardt, Snyder, Lopez. 30-40 minutes a game . . . they are more fun to watch, than no hands and can't hit an open shot Harpring and Mr. Yo Yo with his temper and his shot bell . . . and Collins??? please, can we have a big man that can jump? I'd like to see more of the passing game and less sets. Jerry loosen the tie and let them play.

Would it kill the Jazz to shoot 3's?

I love the Jazz and will always love the Jazz. This year has been very trying as a fan. One day we'll take down the Spurs just to get beat by the Bobcats the next. My opinion on the Jazz is that Jerry Sloan is to hellbent on playing HIS way. The old school way. That has been successful in past years but this team can't play that way. It's obvious.

With Kirilenko, Okur and Lopez all having European backgrounds this team needs to run and gun. Sloan needs to cut this team loose and let them play. GET OKUR IN THE STARTING LINEUP!! We need to quit slowing down the pace of the game and speed it up. This team can run the floor, they're athletic, and they're young. Just outscore everyone like Phoenix. Past Jazz teams have been old and slow and Sloan slowed down the game to suit those players. But, now with our age and athleticism Sloan needs to let this team run and LET THEM SHOOT THE THREE!! How many games have we lost by 5 points or less? What would a couple of 3-pointers have done?

I don't discredit them for getting rid of Arroyo but at least Arroyo had the idea that the team was capable of an up and down game. Sloan wouldn't allow it. Maybe he should re consider.

Time for a new coach

As much as I have enjoyed the Jazz over the years, I fear it is time for new blood in the coaching area. Jerry is not getting it done with these guys, all of which have a lot of talent, but lack the coaching that brings them together and gets the most from them. A new coach, and a new lottery pick would be a place to start.

Big contracts netted apathy

My wife and I follow the Jazz faithfully. I also thought that they would really be good this season. I was surprised at how good they were last year. So I thought that with all the additions that they were to be a great team.
