Sloan has lost ability to lead

I'll first admit that I don't know everything, but from a fan's point of view, I almost wonder if it is time now to look for a new coach. Sloan has been great, but I can't help but think that some of this may be his fault. Personally I also blame Sloan, for the Arroyo trade. Sure Arroyo had his flaws, but Sloan gave up too early on him and made it seem personal. What about Arroyo's play last year? Did that mean nothing? Also, it is a coaches job to use the players he has, and exploit their strengths and style of play. Sloan's style of play has been good, but other coaches are winning by using the talents of their players. A coach needs to be versatile. Also it is his job to motivate the players, which also is obviously not working.

Sloan orchestrated Jazz woes

Story continues below
As much as I love Jerry Sloan and respect what he has done, I think much of the Jazz woes are his own making. He seems to be the type of personality who always has to have someone to bully. For years it was Ostertag, yes, he underachieved but maybe in part to the constant bullying by Jerry. Ostertag left and Arroyo became the "target." Now that he's gone who's next? Also watching the box scores, points in the paint vs. free throws, it's obvious the Jazz aren't getting ANY respect. Isn't it time Larry made a call to David Stern? Nothing will change unless someone makes a little noise.
