Jazz fans sound off on team's woes
Emails come from variety of places worldwide
This will not go over good with the Jazz organization, but I believe it was a huge mistake to let Ostertag leave, he wasn't good on offense, but he played defense and even on his worst night he played better defense than our new pick ups. I also believe like Coach Sloan has said that this team is very timid, that is why I don't understand why he berates them all the time in the paper and I assume in practice, past teams could use this as motivation to get better and become a stronger team, but he has beat this team down so much they can't get up any more. Coach never compliments his team even after a good win, and I understand they should never settle, but come one. The team passes the ball for 20 seconds of the shot clock and than tries to make something happen, everyone looks afraid to shoot, and I am sure we know why that is.
I really believe our best chance is to tank the season and look for a good draft pick next year, there will never be a way to get to the playoffs now. We lost to the Bobcats at home!! I will continue to be a jazz fan and will watch every game no matter how hard it is.
Thanks for listening, feels good to get it off my chest!

Jazz aren't tough enough
What ails the Jazz is a lack of toughness and vocal leadership in the locker room. Individuals need to be held accountable by the other players, not rely on the coaching staff. We have no one to smack someone that drives in the lane. The big guys need to be more physical and intimidating so people think twice before driving to the middle. Maybe after the "bigs" foul out the guards will think they may want to step up and stop the constant dribble penetration.
