Why is it that no name players are continually having career high nights when they play the Jazz? NO DEFENSE! Especially from the 3-point line. Jerry Sloan will not instruct his team to guard this shot. Look at the stats. Every team in the league in attempting and making two to three times more 3-pointers than the Jazz. While the Jazz take an average of five to eight 3-point shots per game the competition is putting up 15 to 25 attempts and making almost 50 percent of them. Yeah, it may be a low percentage shot, but when you are left completely alone at the arc, you're going to make at least 50 percent or more. Jerry Sloan will tell you that they don't defend it because it is a low percentage shot. Well, if that is the case, the Jazz will continue to get burned by the shot and lose games. It is time to drop the old-school style of play and catch up to the rest of the NBA.

Jazz need Lopez's uptempo game

Raul Lopez is the best point guard they have. When he is in the game, the Jazz stay close or ahead. Lopez likes to play an uptempo game, and Sloan and Co. don't. The Jazz with Kirilenko-Lopez-Bell- Boozer- Okur can play a very good uptempo game.

Need defensive-minded players

Last year the Jazz played defense! They had defensive-minded big men like Ostertag, Ruffin, Collins and Moore This year they got rid of them and signed offensive-minded big men like Boozer and Okur.

AC/DC, toasters are keys to winning

Story continues below
You want to know the real reason why the Jazz are struggling so bad this year? It's because the pregame tip-off music was changed! Last year, AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" was played, but this year it's "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses. Also, what happened to the dueling toasters on the jumbotron before the starting lineup announcements? Bring back AC/DC and the toasters, and you'll bring back the wins.

Defense! Defense! Defense!

Stop lineup changes

Why is it so hard to put Raul, Giri, Andrei, Boozer and Okur to start and play more than 30 minutes each?

Boozer and Okur have been putting up good numbers and will get better, but in no way are they team leaders.

As for the point guard, it seems they don't know their role in the team (ironic, huh?) because of all the starting lineup changes.

Stop all those weird lineup changes. They break up the chemistry of the team.
