Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon is holding the first in what he says will be a series of open-door meetings on Thursday, Feb. 17, 4-6 p.m.
It will take place at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 S. State, room N2100 (north building, second floor).
Continuing a practice begun by former Mayor Nancy Workman, Corroon will meet with citizens who might otherwise have a difficult time scheduling an appointment with him. Each meeting will run approximately 10 minutes, and no appointment is needed.
Corroon tentatively plans open-door meetings for the third Thursday of each month.
