Since 2001, when construction of Legacy was halted in court, Davis County leaders have been active in their support of the 14-mile roadway.

City mayors banded together, letters were sent to government officials — and advertisements and billboards posted.

With the issue now fresh again, Davis County leaders have turned to the Internet. A Web site, www.legacy-yes.org, has been created in an effort to inform the public and gather pledges of support for construction of the road. The site has a link to the Legacy Parkway Hotsheet, Davis County's forum to vent about Legacy.
