If Matt Erickson (Forum, Feb. 12) doesn't want to watch "Desperate Housewives," fair enough. However, I do feel that when we throw around the term "pornography" too freely, it begins to lose its shock effect and value. It would be sufficient to call the show witty and somewhat risque. I wonder if all the people who complain so loudly about certain types of programming have even attempted to use the V-chip or that little red button on their remote control.
