The St. George Art Museum will present a conversation with teacher and artist Arlene Braithwaite on Thursday at 7 p.m. Braithwaite will discuss her interactive and multidisciplinary exhibit, "Human Nature: Insights from the Natural World," centered on richly colored pastels. The Utah Arts Council will hold a seminar on Juried Competitions on Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 6-8 p.m. in the Rio Gallery (300 S. 455 West). The panel will be Justin Diggle, printmaker and Utah Design Board member; Ruth Lubbers, director of Art Access; and Victoria Rowe, director of the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art. Helper Art Workshops will conduct a series of seven 3-day workshops (Friday evening through Sunday afternoon) every three weeks through the summer.
