A member of a white supremacist gang currently wanted on a U.S. Marshal's warrant has been named this week's Public Enemy No. 1 by the Salt Lake Metro Gang Unit.

Franklin Reynolds Stokes, 37, is wanted for a firearms violation. His criminal record also includes arrests for aggravated assault, drugs, forgery and aggravated robbery, according to the gang unit.

Stokes is 6 feet tall, 180 pounds and has hazel eyes and blond hair. The gang unit said he has several scars on his chin, arm, wrist and back.

He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to law enforcers.

Anyone with information on Stokes is asked to call the gang unit at 743-7000.
