Legacy Parkway is the name for a 14-mile, four-lane, limited-access highway that would stretch from I-215 in North Salt Lake to U.S. 89 and I-15 in Farmington.

The road — designed as an alternative to I-15 — was supposed to be completed last year, but opponents of the project filed a successful lawsuit in 2001 effectively halting the project until the Utah Department of Transportation restudies five areas of the proposed roadway.

In December, UDOT released the results of that supplemental study. The department is in the middle of a public comment period concerning the project. For more information, visit www.dot.state.ut.us.
