This is in response to your Feb. 2 story titled "Loaded guns in cars?"
Sure! You need to be prepared should you be filled with road rage. You want to be packing.
By the same reasoning, let's all carry full cans of gasoline in our trunks along with a few bags of ammonium nitrate. I would feel a lot safer if I knew that everybody carrying a loaded gun could be trusted to be sane, sober, mature, trained and careful. When the Second Amendment was written, firearms meant muzzle-loaded muskets, rifles and pistols. One must wonder if it would have been worded so broadly if there had been modern semiautomatic guns available at the time.
