Laura Wooldridge (Readers' Forum, Jan. 30) seems to think that all of the people who got ads from Playboy magazine ordered them. First, did all the men who got an ad order them at the same time? Unlikely. It was obviously a mass mailing. Second, if I wanted to order Playboy, I wouldn't order an ad. I'd just order the magazine itself, instead of wasting time ordering a mailer, filling that out, then mailing that one in. It was what these mothers have been saying a mass, unsolicited invitation to become addicted to pornography.
Boys will be boys, but men will be men. I threw mine away the moment I got it.
