Nice Feb. 1 article on Rep. Ben Ferry's bill HB4, which requires one session of mandatory mediation, designed and proven to stifle otherwise high-conflict divorces! Real advocates against domestic violence are baffled as to why Rep. Wyatt, R-Logan, would collude with hostile, leftist feminists to encourage allegations of abuse in order to opt out of such beneficial measures, whether real or not. Conflict-stifling measures like HB4 divorce mediation benefit both participants and especially their children. Most abuse allegations in divorce are shown to be false and specifically used to gain advantage and increase conflict to gain that advantage. Why encourage it? See: www.hisside.com. Even when abuse is the reality, is it so horrible and frightening to stifle divorce conflict anyway?
