Helen Young of Sandy (Readers' Forum, Jan. 26) needs some sort of reality check. I cannot let her claim that "Larry H. Miller is the last person in this state who deserves our praise or trust" go unchallenged.
While I have no idea what her concern over his "treatment of the Golden Eagles" might have been, she is clearly ignorant of the larger picture and the real worth of this fine man.
Beyond athletics are his significant contributions to the state, including the various colleges and universities and developments such as Jordan Commons. Less evident, however, are his unnumbered acts of generosity and community support that go unreported and thus unnoticed.
Larry H. Miller is truly deserving of our praise, trust and gratitude.
