The four-part series "Killing Our Children" is an intimate look at the way Utah officials investigate and prosecute the criminal deaths of children.

A few stories contain graphic information about children's injuries. The Deseret Morning News has also printed a carefully selected group of photographs to illustrate these injuries. Editors and reporters believe it is in the public interest to see the truest, ultimate outcome of behavior that hurts children.

Some readers might find these graphic photos objectionable.
