Outcome: Leavitt pleaded guilty to lesser child abuse homicide, a third-degree felony; 3rd District Judge Robert K. Hilder sentenced Leavitt to 0-5 years in prison.

Outcome: Pleaded guilty; 1st District Judge Clint Judkins ordered 5 years to life in prison.
