Duties for proposed public lands policy office

• Deal with road issues, wilderness, BLM resources management plans, Forest Service roadless issues, wild and scenic rivers, etc.

• Office manager would answer to the governor and lieutenant governor.

• It would be funded through state Division of Natural Resources, governor's office and RS2477 project.

• Sen. Tom Hatch, R-Panguitch, is sponsoring legislation to create the office.
